More About Me

Director, Estates Division

One of the first associates to join Partners Trust, now Pacific Union, Mark Kitching has been an unwavering force behind the growth of the Los Angeles brokerage, contributing to the company’s more than $6 billion in annual sales. Mark was recently recognized as top 1% of agents, and ranked the #4 individual agent among Pacific Union’s 900 agents in Southern California in 2017. Mark specializes in the luxury architectural and new construction market—wherein he has had the privilege of representing properties designed by many of the most accredited and influential architects of our time, including John Lautner, Marmol-Radziner, Charles Ward, Lorcan O’Herily, Thom Mayne, Ted Tokio Tanaka and Rodney Walker. Ranked among the top 100 agents in Los Angeles by sales volume as reported by REAL Trends, Mark is focused on significant homes with a keen ability to uncover neighborhoods on the rise.

While unmistakably a true Californian in spirit and lifestyle, Mark originally hails from Atlanta, Georgia, and still carries an air of southern hospitality, as evident by the level of dedication, warmth, and loyalty that he brings to each and every one of his clients.

Most recently, Mark was instrumental with the opening of Pacific Union, formerly Partners Trust Ocean Park office, as well as OpenHouse, a retail storefront concept featuring an immersive home decor experience. In line with the brokerage itself, these projects are shaping up to be anything but ordinary, and Mark’s involvement reflects his own personal interest and appreciation for architecture, style, and the story of homes.

Mark’s clientele consists of a diverse list of celebrities and professional athletes, investors and developers, as well as first-time home buyers. In addition to setting the record for the highest priced home in Venice—a community he has resided in for fifteen years—Mark has been featured in a number of media outlets including The Wall Street Journal, The Hollywood Reporter, KCREW, E! and The Los Angeles Times. Mark was recognized in 2017 as the top individual Realtor in Venice by the Wall Street Journals Americas Best Real Estate Agents.

Mark currently resides in Venice with his wife and two children, Canyon and Zander. The self-proclaimed foodie and father especially loves the walkability of his community, a characteristic that enables his family to travel to and from the park and a handful of praise-worthy restaurants. Mark can also be found spending his time through volunteering and raising money for several charities such as the Global Nomads Group, True Connection, Giving Back Homes, The Judy Fund, People Loving Pets and many others.
